FRM Exam
The FRM Exam, offered by GARP, is a practice-oriented exam designed to assess candidate’s knowledge and understanding of the skills necessary to function effectively as a financial risk manager. There is no educational or professional prerequisites needed to register for FRM Exam. The FRM Exam has 2 parts which take a minimum of 6 months to clear. Each part is conducted twice a year, in 3rd Saturday of May & November. Offered in English only, at approximately 90 exam sites around the world. Part I offered in the morning and has 100 multiple choice questions of 1 mark each. Part II offered in the afternoon and has 80 multiple choice questions of 1 mark each. For both the parts, exam duration is 4 hours. There is no penalty of wrong answer (i.e. no negative marking).
